Key Charges
There is a $55 key deposit required at check-in. This deposit will be refunded when the key is returned during check-out.
Players Should Bring
THE Academy Juniors: A soccer ball, soccer shoes, shin guards, and sunblock. Those that are in the Full Day Juniors should bring a lunch.
THE Academy Advanced/Elite/Goakeeper: Soccer shoes (cleats and flats for indoor), shin guards, soccer socks, running shoes or sandals (for walking to/from field), sunblock, and spending money to purchase FROG BUCKS (for snacks, souvenirs, pizza). FROG BUCKS are NON-REFUNDABLE. If staying in the dorms also bring an alarm clock, towels, pillow, blankets, sheets for twin bed (or sleeping bag), toiletries, and plenty of soccer clothing for three training sessions per day.
THE Academy Confirmations
Upon acceptance to THE Academy, you will receive a confirmation email. Approximately two weeks prior to camp you will receive check-in information as well.
THE Academy Parking
The stadium and dorm parking lots are available for players and their parents. There is no charge for Academy parking. Those players who drive themselves to THE Academy will be required to turn their keys in to Academy staff for the duration of THE Academy.
Meals
No meals are provided for the THE Academy Juniors. Meals will be provided to all resident campers from dinner on day one to breakfast on day 5. Commuters or non-residents will have the same meals with the exception of breakfast each day.
Water and Medical Attention
A full time athletic training staff will be on duty at all training sessions and in the dormitory. Water and Gatorade will be provided at all sessions.
THE Academy Store
There will be an Academy store in the dorm which will have Gatorade, snacks, TCU Soccer souvenirs, camp t-shirts, camp balls, etc. Items must be purchased with FROG BUCKS - no cash accepted. FROG BUCKS can be purchased at check-in and throughout THE Academy. FROG BUCKS are NON-REFUNDABLE.
