All Academy sessions are held at Garvey Rosenthal Soccer Stadium on the campus of TCU.  There are a few sessions held at the TCU Intramural Fields which are adjacent to the soccer stadium and the Sam Baugh Indoor Center.

Who are the coaches at the Dan Abdalla Soccer Academy?
TCU Head Coach Dan Abdalla and TCU Associate Head Coach Mark Plakorus oversee the daily operations of the Dan Abdalla Soccer Academy and are actively involved in the training of campers and every session.  Also, the Dan Abdalla Horned Frog Soccer Academy brings in some of the best college coaches in the country along with current TCU players who mentor and are counselors for Academy sessions.

Is there a limit to the number of campers?
Yes!  Space is limited at the Dan Abdalla Horned Frog Soccer Academy.  So, register as early as possible.

Will a deposit reserve my child’s space in the Academy?
Yes!  A $50 deposit is required for the Junior Frog Academy.  A $200 deposit is required for the Advanced/Elite/Goalkeeper/Team Academies.  The remainder of the balance is due upon check-in.

What are the refund procedures?

To maintain the high quality of the Dan Abdalla Horned Frog Soccer Academy we ask that you do your best to register for the most appropriate camp dates suitable to your player. In the case of a necessary cancellation for any Academy Program the following applies: 20-14 days prior to check-in will result in a refund of tuition less $100; 13-7 days prior to check-in will result in a refund of tuition less $200; 6 days prior to check-in up until check out will result in a refund tuition less $300.  There will be NO REFUNDS after the first day of camp.

Will I be able to watch my child at camp?

Is there medical staff at the camp?

In case of an emergency, you will be provided with a 24 hour number at check-in.

Are there any key deposits or costs for a lost room key?
Yes!  There is a $55 key deposit required at check-in.  This will be returned at the end of camp when the key is turned in.  If a key is lost the deposit will not be returned.

Will my child be supervised in the dorm?
Yes!  There are camp counselors housed in the dorm on each floor who will look after the campers.  The dorm also has a key card entry system, thus only Academy staff and personnel will be allowed in the dorm.  Campers will not be given a key card, only Academy staff will have the cards.

Will my child need to bring linens and toiletries?
Yes!  All campers will need sheets, pillows, blankets, towel(s), shower needs and toiletries.

Will the rooms have refrigerators?
Yes!  Campers may bring snacks and beverages for the week.

Should my child bring spending money?
That is up to you.  Although all their meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are provided, there will be a camp store with Gatorade, snacks, TCU Soccer souvenirs, camp t-shirts, camp balls, etc.  Most campers like a snack after the evening sessions.  Please note, campers will be responsible for their own money.

How will campers get from the dorm to meals and the fields?
The fields are a 5 minute walk from the dormitories, and the dining facility is next door to the dormitories.  The Academy staff and counselors walk to and from the fields and meals with the campers.
